Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani woman born of a Russian father and mother who is a Hindu Indian mother. Mahendru is fluent in German Russian English, French Persian as well Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India to a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, speaks fluently with both of the languages. She created a choreography that earned her the chance to be a guest on German television as a Russian snowmaiden. She later became a Indian dancer. When she graduated at New York's high school, she earned her bachelor's in English degree at St. John's University. The classes she took in acting were in the HB Studios. However, she went on to study improv comedy at The Groundlings School. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father in Kabul in Afghanistan. She moved to East Meadow New York, with her father when she was 13, and is now starring alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most famous role. Her recurring role in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
